In 1973, Frank began a locksmith training program. A year later, at age 17, Frank completed the program and worked at locksmithing as a hobby after school. In 1977, Frank was hired by one of the largest locksmith shops in the city of Milwaukee. Frank was the past Secretary/treasurer of the Wisconsin Locksmith's Association. Currently, he is a member of the Safe and Vault Technicians Association (SAVTA).
